I am Bernie (AKA Bernski) I have lived a lot of places in the USA and now one year in Warsaw. There is a lot of stuff about Poland that I love and a lot of things about Poland I just cannot stand. All in all, I think it is too early to make a final decision...only time will tell.

I will be traveling to Warsaw in June with a group of people from the USA. I will arrive a fw days earlier than everyone so I can explore Warsaw, Old Town and other places of interest. My grand parents (my fathers parents) were born in Poland and cam to the USA in 1911 so I am really looking forward to visiting.W hat are your favorite places besides Old Town? I already decided that is where I will begin, it looks lovely. Thanks.

Old town is the best place to start. From there you can visit Nowy Swiat. This is a strre in Warsaw along the Royal Route. It is full of designer shops, cafes and pubs. Other than that, Warsaw is like visiting Milwaukee. Make sure you get to Krakow during your visit...there is much more to explore. I am an American as well. I have lived here a little over a year, so if ya have any other questions, I can try to help...
