"Can I Buy Bureaucracy?" by Bernski

Getting my work permit and residency here is a nightmare. "Common Sense" does not reside within the boundaries of Poland and to make it worse, the locals see this as normal.
I have a friend who is MARRIED to a Polish citizen and still has trouble getting his paperwork secured.

Can't I just buy my way through? How much is a Beaureacrat?

I am also sick and tired of hearing..."But the screening process is really hard for the states"...Well no shit? There are approximately 5 million people per year that are trying to swim across, tunnel under and jump over our border to try and make their lives better. America has the largest immigrant infiltration in the world. A not even close second is Spain and their battle against the fleeing members of the U.K..

So who is trying to infiltrate Poland? Ukraine and Belarus refugees?
It certainly isn't Americans trying to increase their standard of living.

It all boils down to a piss poor government trying to "protect" the polish worker from having their jobs taken away. Well if they would cut through the bureaucracy that hides the corruptness, maybe they could create more jobs and clean up this stinking economy. Then and only then will they start to have a country that people will try to flock to. Either that or get warm weather and a better beach. I'm not sure which would be easier.
